DIARY OF A HOLE
DIARY OF A HOLE
Bring your friends.
Lose your shame.
Only in Berlin.
Diary of a Hole is an experimental trauma comedy (a trauma-dy) exploring gay sexuality and identity, taking place in an institution where the inmates perform for you. A visual art exhibition from local queer artists, an international cast of performers, audio installations, absurd comedy, music, and dance. Queer artists are welcome to sell their art in one room, while in the performance space performers demand your attention with provocative scenes of stereotypes, villainy and naughty bits. Hear diary entries read by voices from different countries, asking what it means to be gay, to be a man, to be queer, and to be a human. Diary of a Hole plays with audience expectations by presenting outrageous, Buffon-style caricatures exploring intense intimacy in an absurd, dangerous world.
NOTE: Ages 18+. Provocative material involving graphic sexual content, offensive language, and violence. Loud sounds and small spaces.
